Welcome to Bar Z Ranch
We
are located in beautiful Brenham Texas. If you are wondering where Brenham is, Brenham is located on highway 290 between
Houston and Austin. We acquired our first miniature horse in 1991. Since then we have branched out into Classic
and Modern Shetlands. We currently have a herd of approximately 30 horses. We specialize in performance horses,
especially for driving. We are a family based operation. My husband declares he is in charge of production and
maintenance, I handle sales and marketing and our daughter is the trainer and groom. We have worked long and hard to
improve our performance prospects.
Brenham is known for its beautiful wild flowers. Pictured above is a young Modern
Shetland Gelding, "Bar Z's Soul Shaker". We have great hopes for Shaker in the show ring, not only
as a driving pony but also halter.
